		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Author&#039;s Note:&lt;/strong&gt; This chapter was one of my favorites to write as it allowed us to delve deeper into Jack&#039;s back story and his character. The themes of love, familial duty and, of course, love lost, run deep in this story and I enjoy slowly revealing the layers one chapter at a time. I&#039;m still not sure how all of this will read as a whole for the book, though we are trying to be conscious of the needs of both the story as a whole and in its serial format. 

My other favorite part, of course, is the big reveal at the end, and the mystery deepens.
