First of all, thanks to everybody who entered our creative writing contest. Our judges have their work cut out for them, as there were many outstanding entries. Judges will be reading all the entries in the coming week and assigning a point value to each story. Those stories that gather the most points will place first through third, with winners announced the following Monday.

We hope you have enjoyed what you’ve seen so far at Collective Inkwell. But as the saying goes, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

We’re lining up some great interviews with today’s best creative minds. We’ll kick off our interview series this Wednesday with a great Q & A with Brian  Anderson of the uber cute AND hilarious syndicated comic strip, Dog Eat Doug. Among topics of discussion, we’re going to talk about Brian’s comic creating process, how the economy is affecting comic strip artists and what inspires him.

In coming weeks, we’ve also got some great guest posts lined up and some new features which we’re sure will entertain and inspire you.

Thanks to everybody who has stopped by so far. We appreciate all the feedback and conversation and look forward to the next few months!
